Designed a polytope vaccine against vibrio ‎cholerae: a reverse approach for designing ‎vaccine ‎

Vaccine design from the past to the present is based on classical methods, which are time consuming, costly and have risks but, with discovering the genome and sequencing the gene, modern methods for vaccine design have been developed, including the reverse vaccine design method (polytope vaccine). In this study, a polytope construct against vibrio cholerae has been designed with this approach.In this study, by thoroughly examining the genus Vibrio cholerae, the antigens that are most likely to be immunogenic have been identified, and then a polytopic design containing these fragments of the cholera vaccine has been designed. 6074 reading frameworks as well as 43 surface and secretory proteins were identified, which were finally limited to 10 suitable epitopes capable of providing immunity against a wide range of strains.The final epitope selected in this study facilitates the development of the vaccine by introducing 10 new proteins as vaccine candidates. It is hoped that this approach will be an easier, less costly and more accurate way to design and produce vaccines against pathogens, and that we will see a stronger and faster fight against pathogens.
